The
Rhode Island Master Plumbers Associations Apprenticeship
training program is a private, non-profit, school offering
the accredited educational hours required by the RI
general laws RGL-20 sanctioned by the Rhode Island Department
of Labor. An apprentice plumber is required to complete
576 hours within a 5-year period that is commonly completed
in a 4-year period but can be completed in as little
as 3+ years for the aggressive motivated individual.
Every year over 75 students choose our school to learn
the theory of plumbing with classroom training to provide
them with the necessary skills required for the Journeyman
Plumber exam to succeed in their career.
Upon
completing the required accredited hours, our students
obtain a combination of technical and critical thinking
skills. In order to maintain the highest levels of learning
and training, we provide informative training seminars
and manufacturer plant field trips including incentives
to attend outside training seminars to increase their
knowledge of the newest and upcoming products as they
become available.
